Today, we are going to talk about this type of paper, which is becoming more and more important in our production.

In order for paper to meet the requirements for FSC® and PEFC certification, its raw material, wood, must come from sustainably managed forests, where the tree-felling practices are certified according to the requirements of the international FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) standards.

As mentioned earlier, papers that meet the requirements of the certifications of this type are in increasingly high demand, since consumers are more environmentally aware.
FSC® or PEFC certification indicates that environmentally appropriate forest management has been carried out that it is both economically feasible and socially beneficial.

FSC® Chain of Custody certification reports on the entire production process that is used to produce that FSC® product, from the forest to our clients. To accomplish this, all the parties involved must have earned an FSC® quality certificate.

Centro Gráfico Ganboa has PEFC and FSC® quality certificates that ensure the chain of custody. These are complemented by ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 certificates.

The ISO 9001 quality certificate establishes the protocols that ensure the success of each of the production processes: from the first contact with the client, through to the reception of the document to be printed, and until the delivery of the finished product.

The ISO 14001 certificate indicates that we are an environmentally responsible organization, promoting environmental protection and pollution prevention, all achieved through the application of tools that integrate the environment into the overall management of the company.
